west coast highlands and islands of scotland
The islands of Skye, Mull, Islay and Jura make up what is arguably the best malt whisky region in Scotland, if not the world. We sail through these west coast islands visiting fine malt whisky distilleries and, where possible, dropping anchor in the harbours of Lagavulin, Talisker, Jura and Tobermory, to name but a few. Along the way we have time to explore the famous islands and sample the fine foods they produce, including hand-dived Lagavulin scallops (by our very own skipper), oysters from Colonsay, Glengorn highland beef from Mull, and freshly caught prawns landed by local fishermen. This is our showcase trip offering the finest

Speyside walking in the heart of whisky country
Walking, whisky & wildlife. Whilst others make a beeline for the highest peaks of the Cairngorms National Park we venture onto the quiet back waters of the Glenlivet area for grandstand views from deserted mountain tops. This secretive area, away from the eyes of the Exciseman, was once the heart of illicit distilling territory. Not to fear though, whisky is now legal and a thriving industry. We’ll discover the world of whisky and have a chance to sample its delights along with experiencing some of Scotland’s finest mountain-scapes
