The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
Yorkshire Dales
The Yorkshire Three Peaks is one of the great mountain challenges, we begin at Horton in Ribblesdale climbing Pen-Y-Ghent before the long walk north to Whernside, returning over Ingleborough. A very long days walking but well within most walkers capabilities, our staff on the ground will transport anyone retiring from the challenge to a nearby Inn for a walm (or straight back to the start point) and collect you before returning to meet the group back at the meeting point so that anyone who can't complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks will not hold other walkers back!

1-Day Map Reading Course - Yorkshire Dales

1-day Map Reading course, with Mark Reid, author of 'The Inn Way' guidebooks This course will give you the fundamental skills you need to plan and follow your own walks in the countryside, with an emphasis on map and compass skills. The course is practically based, with a full day's training in the Yorkshire Dales within a small group. Your instructor is Mark Reid, an experienced Mountain Leader, Guidebook Writer and Outdoor Instructor. You will learn how to plan your own walks, understand an OS map, use a compass, stay safe in the outdoors as well as many more essential outdoors skills

Group Landscape Photography Course Brecon Beacons

The course offers expert tuition in both the technical and creative aspects of landscape photography, enabling you to create images you’ve always wanted. You'll get learning in the latest techniques in digital photography, using photoshop at the end of the course to process your best images. While courses are essentially outdoor or ‘landscape’ photography based, any participant needing advice on any other aspect or subject in photography need only ask and Nigel will do his best to help and if possible allow time for you to practise during the course. The Great Ridge. Half Day Guided Walk
Peak District
A half day guided walk as part of a small group up onto part of the range of hills known as The Great Ridge. Highlights will include an ascent of Mam Tor to evidence of a Bronze Age hill fort and to learn why it is known as 'The Shivering Mountain'. A walk along the wide ridge as far a Backtor Nook. On a clear day there are the most wonderful views on one side of the ridge across the Vale of Edale to Kinder Scout, and on the other side, across the Hope Valley and to the hills beyond. Throughout the walk your friendly, professional guide will share with you a wealth of local knowledge

The Lake District
High Raise, the highest of the Central Lake District Fells is rightly a popular summit, but the Borrowdale side of the mountain is much less trodden than the routes above Langdale and Grasmere to the south and east. The ridge climbing above Stonethwaite from the Borrowdale Valley over Eagle Crag and Sergeant's Crag offers a wonderful route climbing between crags to the summit of Eagle Crag before following the ridge over Sergeant's Crag where a grassy slope leads to the summit of High Raise

At the same time you’ll get to see some fantastic scenery! You'll also get a set of comprehensive course notes (with a set of practical exercises) to take away with you which means you can practise what you've learnt over and over again.
