You will be shown simple tricks and tips, over five days to produce your own exclusive designs, be it for weave, spinning, embroidery, patchwork or more. You don't need to be able to paint and draw to take part in this course, just have an open mind! You will explore how colour can transform your work; discover how texture can make a simple technique look completely different; learn how to produce pleasing stripes. You will go home with a range of swatches of your own designs in whatever skill you enjoy and the confidence to to put the “Wow” factor into all your future textile projects

The Isle of Wight Coastal Path is a circular walk and travels anti-clockwise following the coastal path. The coastal path is the iconic Isle of Wight walk and the one everyone should walk at least once. 69 miles of varied scenery from Chalk cliffs to remote estuaries and quaint villages. Graded as medium this is a strong walk for experienced walker used to walking over 15 miles a day. A nice gentle first day then four 15 mile days so make sure you’re fit and ready
