From the moment children learn about Egypt in their schools they wish to visit the land of the ancient gods and kings. Over and above the exciting history, there are also magnificent beaches to keep the entire family entertained during their historically filled tour to Egypt.

Itinerary

Day 1 (Cairo)
Arrive at Cairo Airport where our representative will meet and assist you through customs and then you claim your baggage. You will be transferred to your selected hotel for a free evening. Overnight at your Hotel. (no meals)

Day 2 (Cairo)
The first early visit in Cairo is to the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza including camel ride at the pyramids. This area makes for excellent photo opportunities and the history behind the construction of the Pyramids inspires young and old. You will visit the Papyrus Museum with a complimentary papyrus cartouche given to all children. Early evening take part in a Nile dinner cruise with belly dancing show. You will return to the hotel where you will overnight in Cairo. (B)

Day 3 (Cairo)
On your way to the Egyptian Museum you will pass by Tahrir Square, one of the newest additions to the Egyptian history. After the relics of the museum, see the Islamic areas of Cairo including the Citadel of Saladdin - housing the majestic Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Lunch during the tour at local restaurant, before visiting the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon which is built over the ruins of two towers of the fortress the church of St Mary. It is best known as the Hanging Church, followed by St Sergius which is said to be the resting place for the Holy Family during their flight from Israel. Overnight at your hotel.(B)

Day 4 (Cairo - Luxor)
In the morning you will take a short flight to Luxor. When you arrive you will be transferred to the hotel to freshen up and then visit the East Bank of the ancient city which was known as Thebes. The first temple is that of the Karnak Temple. It is considered one of the largest in the world and on the opposite side of it, following the recently opened avenue of sphinxes, you will find the Luxor Temple. Enjoy a free evening in Luxor and then overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 5 (Luxor)
It will be a an early start to the day to avoid the heat of the Valley of the Kings. Here you will visit a number of tombs that are on display to the public. You will also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut in the Valley of the Queens as well as pass by the Colossi of Memnon. Once you return to the East Bank, the children will have some fun time to the Banana Island while sailing on a felucca. During the evening you will return to the hotel where you will overnight in Luxor.

Day 6 (Luxor - Sharm El Sheikh - Dahab )
A morning flight will take you to Sharm El Sheikh. From there you will drive for one hour to the sea resort named after its golden, sandy beaches. The remainder of the day is spent exploring the vibrant town of Dahab. You will overnight at your hotel in Dahab. (B,D)

Day 7 (Dahab)
The morning begins with a 4x4 Jeep safari of South Sinai. Firstly discover the double canyon, followed by the Valley of the Wings and then on to Nawames El Kon. Play in the sand dunes before lunch is served at the oasis with Bedouins as your hosts. An early evening drive will take you back to the hotel where you will overnight in Dahab. (B,L,D)

Day 8 (Dahab)
This is a snorkeling day. one of the most famous places in Dahab is the Blue Hole. You will spend until midday in the clear, blue waters. Once you return to the hotel, you will have a late afternoon activity which includes camel riding parallel to the beach and the blue lagoon. After sunset you are taken back to the hotel where you will overnight in Dahab. (B,D)

Day 9 (Dahab)
In the early morning hours you will drive to Saint Catherine where you will visit the monastery. You will then drive back to Dahab where the remainder of the day is free to take part in the variety of water activities. You will overnight at the hotel in Dahab.(B,L,D)

Day 10 (Dahab - Sharm El Sheikh - Cairo )
In the morning you will be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport where you will fly to Cairo. Upon arrival at the hotel, you have the day free to spend as you wish. You will overnight at the hotel in Cairo. (B)

Day 11 (Cairo)
Transfer to the Cairo Airport for your departure flight. (B)
