"CORINTHIA" Hiking Weekend

The valley of Baška - Krk Island

The Corinthia weekend break includes a day hike to Corinthia, an ancient Byzantine fort that was built during Emperor Justinian's reign (527-565 AC). It will take some effort to cross over the Rebica Ridge and get to the Vela Luka and Mala Luka Bays. But you will be rewarded with great views, fresh sea air, and a lot of fun – guaranteed. If the sea is warm, at the end of the route we'll swim in a secluded bay that can be reached only on foot or by boat. On Sunday we'll visit yet one more island – tiny Košljun, where you will immerse yourself in Croatian history

"GLAGOLJICA" Hiking Weekend

If you love history, this is the perfect weekend break for you! You'll be immersed in history on both the day hike and the Sunday excursion. The day hike (grade – Easy) will take you to the most famous attraction on the whole island – the church of Sv. Lucy. It was here that the Baška Tablet – "the birth certificate of the Croats" – was found in 1851. The Baška Tablet is one of the oldest monuments to feature an inscription in the Glagolitic alphabet. On Sunday you'll enjoy a historical tour of the town of Krk, which has been the urban center of the island for the last 3000 years

"MRGARI" Hiking Weekend

This weekend break includes a relatively long hike (grade – Demanding) over the Organ mountain ridge to a charming fishing village called Stara Baška (Old Baška). On the way to Stara Baška you'll notice mrgari – rather unusual old stone structures used by local shepherds. As you hike, you'll learn a few facts about the local sheep-breeding traditions, and will also have the chance to try some of the local products at lunch in a restaurant in Stara Baška. On Sunday you will visit yet one more island – tiny Košljun, where you'll be able to step back in time into early Croatian history

The Summit is an active week-long holiday that requires a moderately high level of fitness. You don't have to be an experienced hiker to take part in it; our guide will always be around to help. During this holiday you will walk the best routes in the Baška valley – and will see the most interesting parts of the area. Each day's plans will be different, and will include one moderate grade hike, two demanding grade hikes, and two six-hour excursions.We will always return at least 2-3 hours before dinner, so you will have enough time to relax and get ready for the evening meal
