The Moose Whaler tour offers plenty of exciting experiences--from walking the historic cobblestone streets of Quebec City to the viewing the spectacular fijords at Tadoussac. This trip also offers an opportunity to take a whale watching tour at one of the best locations in North America. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Itinerary

Day: 1 | Location: MONTREAL TO TADOUSSAC


We depart at 8:30am from the HI Hostel in Montreal, and travel along the spectacular highway that borders the St Lawrence Seaway. En-route we stop at St. Anne de Beaupre Cathedral where thousands of pilgrims come annually to witness miracles. We arrive at Tadoussac where you have an opportunity to experience some of the best whale watching in North America (extra cost). We highly recommend it! That night we have a group dinner at the hostel (included).

Day: 2 | Location: TADOUSSAC TO QUEBEC CITY


Today starts with a hearty french breakfast, (included) and after we travel to Quebec City and visiting Montmorency Falls—a spectacular waterfall that is actually higher than Niagara Falls! From here we continue to Quebec City—the largest walled city in North America. You have free time to stroll along the cobblestone streets and enjoy outdoor cafes, street musicians, local art and best of all—the fine food!village.

Day: 3 | Location: QUEBEC CITY


Today you have two choices--you can join the Moose guide and explore the cobblestone streets and cafes with the group. Depending on the group, we may even take a cruise on the St Lawrence River (extra cost) so you can see the famous walls from this view. You are also free to walk around the city on your own, taking in the cafes, artists and local shops while practicing your french!

Day: 4 | Location: QUEBEC CITY TO MONTREAL


Today we depart early in the morning and make our way back to Montreal. Drop off at the downtown place of your choosing.
